Most people who knew that I’m a Pastor’s kid expected me to sing, do tambourine dancing, and especially play piano or guitar. I’m sorry to disappoint them but I haven’t learned to play the piano or the guitar. I wish I could but during those times when my father taught me and my brother guitar, I stopped when I learned the basic chords. It’s not that I don’t like music but in those days as a responsible eldest daughter I deemed it necessary to spent my spare time washing clothes and helping my mother takes care of my younger siblings than practicing.
On Saturdays when his dad and uncle practice at church, I bring Hyzyd to church and let him play this small guitar
Learning to play a musical instrument is an amazing opportunity. I think it’s not too late for me to practice guitar playing. I wish my son could play musical instruments of his choice- drum, guitar, or piano. When he’s about a year old, he loves to beat the beat drums especially on Sundays when he saw his dad playing the drum during Praise and Worship service. He also have an interest on guitars because he always see his uncle (my brother) playing guitar at home and in church. My duty as a mother is to foster his interest on instruments. If he wants to study music formally, then I’m ready to send him to music school. If he wants you rock guitar then I’m willing to buy one for him as long that this is what he wants. Studies indicate that music helps children learn math easier because the learning pathways in the brain are similar for music and math. But, by all means, I won’t force him to play something just because scientific studies say it’s a good thing. But still I’m hoping that he’ll learn to play one or two musical instruments:)

Good respond in return of this question with genuine arguments and telling the whole thing about that.
