It came as a surprise to him. last April 12, a day before Songkhran we went to city proper to get a van ticket for Penang, Malaysia. Little did I know that splashing of water has already started! Good thing that I followed my intuition of wrapping our valuables in cellophane just in case . Hyzyd was kinda shocked that a stranger just came to us while we’re looking for a place to park and douse us with water. He cried at first and then I let him understand that it’s people way of giving us blessings as Thai celebrates New Year. He observed the people around splashing water to each other and fighting with water guns. He enjoyed it . He was filled with excitement when we bought our water guns and started our mini- Songkhran at home!
