Now that we had Ipad 2, I downloaded lots and lots of interactive Ipad book for kids and one of his favorite is Elfishki and the Giant Cake! It’s a story about two magical little people called Elfishki who were at odds with each other until one day they had to work side by side on baking a giant cake.

Elfishki and the Giant cake is one enticing app that even an adult like me can be hooked with its wonderful magical story. While reading the story (alongside with the narrator) , Hyzyd can’t help admiring how the animated images moved while touching them. It’s really engaging and educational! I love how the developer of this app added three questions on every page of the book to help my three-year-old analyze how many goblets are there or to find and name all the circular objects in the picture. 

Hyzyd can’t wait to finish our reading so that he could play the bonus game- Decorate the Cake! It surely boost my child’s imagination. After decorating the cake, he could snap a photo of it, save and send to grandpa via email to greet him a happy birthday.

My boy is busy decorating his cake for grandpa’s birthday. He’ll be the future baker or chef of the house. How I wish:)
