This is my first time making a resolution as a mommy. With God's guidance and strength , I can do changes and keep them up all year long!
1. Save some pennies. I want to make sure my child is financially secure in the future. So this year I'm going to start a savings account for him. I know how hard I've had to struggle, and I don't want my child to go through what I've gone through.
2. Better cook for my child. I won't be discouraged on my tot being a very picky eater. May as well be trying for something a little more adventurous to expand his palates.
3. Routine Basics. This year I vow to stick to more of a schedule especially on weekends. I'm so busy with my life in school , blogging and tot that my life has lost its structure. Our family is constantly on the go -- eating, sleeping, and doing housework whenever we can fit them in. I want to enforce a routine for my family with family devotions, solid mealtimes, daily preschool lessons, and other fun activities for my toddler.
4. Precious Moments. I never thought that I could be a chronic neat freak! I always get consumed by the tiniest things. This year I've decided to take things down a notch. Instead of spending my days obsessing over housework, I've decided that it's okay occasionally to leave the dishes in the sink or let the laundry pile up. What really matters is that my Hyzyd knows how important he is, because nothing is more special than spending time with my little munchkin and his father every day.
5.Mother and Wife. I'm making a promise to not give all my time to being a good mom but make sure to save some of "me" to share with My Super Fantastic Supportive Husband. Giving my children a good example of a healthy and loving marriage will hopefully help them feel secure, confident, and blessed.
6. Exercise. I promise to exercise at least 3 times a week and keep my weight under control so that I can play tag, jump rope and do all the outside activities with my child and not be out of breath.
7. I make a promise to be a more patient, present, and imaginative parent.
What's your mommy resolution?
