Honesty makes the couple happy:)I can't imagine myself being dishonest with my hubby. He knows me from inside and out. Same with him. He's been honest to me and confide everything to me. There's no secrecy between us. There were times that I tried to hide the truth from him and tried little bitty white lies, I felt uneasy and I couldn't sleep so I end up telling him the truth. But I see to it that I need to be tactful when being honest with him. I can't always say exactly what maybe on my mind at any given moment. I really think twice before I speak. I say things honestly yet nicely. Honesty in relationships is a good idea but I need to be nice while being honest so that I don't harm the relationship by being mean. Compassionate honesty is the best way to achieve honesty in our relationship . Honesty in relationships can help us be a better person and create a really good relationship.

sometimes we don't want to be brutally honest so as not to hurt our partners. i totally agree with you, it is always better to say things in nice ways.

Tumpak ka dyan Marce. Iba talaga ang relasyon kapag both honest ang mag asawa. But, you're right, you need to be tactful, otherwise one can hurt the other's feeling, and sometimes, being honest can ruin a relationship. They say that yo don't have to be fully honest, that white lies can also help others, or make others happy, so I guess, we can also be dishonest if it helps others? tama ba? or walang place ang dishonesty sa mundong ito?
