on facebook and paving stones

I’m not really a facebook addict. I could go for a week without opening my facebook account but when I became a member of Marce Club ( a coined word for group of godmothers for Sati, Marce Pehpot’s daughter), I realized that I started to like Facebook because connecting with them is just a few clicks away.

I’ve been able to find some elementary school classmates of mine through there (with just a bit more reconnecting success than with my cousins, haha)! Facebook is normally most popular with the college/recent grads crowd, but if my friend’s 73 year old mom can have a Facebook account, I figure the site is game for anyone of any age!

I did have a long lost friend that I was trying to get in touch with . I recently found her on Facebook. I first contacted her on the site about a year ago and we started messaging a lot at first, and she expressed some interest in reconnecting and meeting again in person if we happen to be home in the Philippines this summer.

She’s currently living in Australia now with her geologist hubby and a son with the same age of my Hyzyd. They’re both Filipino, by the way. They were able to purchase their own house somewhere in Perth, Australia. She shared to me her photos and I can’t help admiring their brand new house with interlocking paving stones on their driveway , walkway, patio and even on their pool deck areas! Paving their driveway is a great way to enhance the look and value of their home. Paving stones not only look great but are designed to withstand the heavy wear and tear of cars, trucks RVs, motor homes, buses and more. Paving stones also make their pool area look gorgeous. I think their unsealed interlocking paving stones are non-skid, non-slip and guaranteed to endure and exposure to all kinds of weather.

You could visit http://systempavers.com/Gallery/GalleryDriveways.aspx for some paver stones driveway designs, if you’re interested. I would suggest that you’ll hire expert driveway contractors in installing driveways. It’s not typically for do-it-yourselfers, since such a project is large in scale and often fraught with pitfalls.

Thanks to facebook. I was able to connect to my friend and see the beauty of her house with all those interlocking paving stones.
