homemade wedding invitations

If only I sent wedding save the date cards to let my busy relatives and friends know that our special celebration will soon be held last October 2007, they would be able to save the date and were able to attend our wedding day.

Our wedding is scheduled on October 18, 2007. I went home on October 1 all the way from Thailand, so I didn’t have much time informing all my relatives and friends about our upcoming wedding. Our wedding invitations were specially designed by my father. It’s really a labor of love. All he need to do is buy cardstocks to meet all of our design needs. Many appreciated the uniqueness of our wedding invitation. Forever I’m grateful for my father for giving us the best wedding gift that we could treasure for a lifetime.

Why we choose to make our own wedding invitations? While we’re learning something new and useful, we’re creating a warm, personalized invitation. We felt the joy of knowing that our gesture mean so much to our loved ones – our guests as well as the people for whom we’re planning the special event. Everyone we’re amazed that my father was able to print professional, elegant invitations at home.

Another reason is printing at home saves us money.Printing invitations at home is far more cost effective than hiring a professional to print them. With our fine specialty paper and our computer and inkjet printer, we achieved the same professional and elegant results.
