Filemaker for teachers

Classes is almost over. Next week, my preschool learners will be having their final test for the whole week and I don’t need to conduct classes for them. I will be free to prepare my lesson plans for our summer class. Good thing that I don’t need to prepare grades or report cards for 1000 students! If that would be the case, I think I would need the help of a FileMaker.
Filemaker gets to be the world’s leading easy-to-use database software. It instantly manages people, projects, assets and more – the easy way! It helps anyone with any type of task get things done faster. And it doesn’t matter if you’re a Mac or Windows user – you can create and share database applications with each other through a network, over the web, or in popular formats such as PDF. Millions of people just like you rely on FileMaker every day to effortlessly manage and share their information.
I haven’t any idea yet if in our city back in the Philippines if schools use FileMaker. I wish they did. This easy-to-use database software helps schools collect, manage and report on student and administrative data. In US over 10,000 K-12 schools use FileMaker in their data-driven decision making processes to achieve greater operational efficiency, easily comply with regional and national reporting requirements, advance teacher development and monitor student performance.

Schools using FileMaker software throughout their institution – including student information, special education and school operations – make better decisions based on accurate data. Many of these schools create their own FileMaker solutions or use some of the many K-12 software solutions offered by FileMaker Developer. They make it easy for customers to get started right away, accomplishing whatever task with a handy Starter Solutions. These Starter Solutions can be easily customized to meet the customers unique needs. Some comes with pre-designed FileMaker Templates even for personal tasks like contacts, expenses, classes and much more.

These FileMaker solutions act as productivity tools for teachers. Teachers can quickly prepare and organize information to better meet the needs of students and expectations of parents like tracking and reporting grades and attendance, monitor student progress report, develop and manage lesson plans and homework, create and track student tests and portfolio.
