it’s all about prom dress!

I remember when I was still in high school, this time of the year we’re already scouting for prom dress. Our prom day usually falls on the 2nd week of February- preferably February 14. Buying a prom dress is a major part of being a teenage girl—something to anticipate with excitement, not apprehension. That’s why I’m also very excited browsing online for prom dresses 2010 for my sisters. I have 2 sisters who are in Junior high school and this year would be their first time to have a prom.

I advised my sisters to start “Window shopping” online. It is a great way to start figuring out what they like. Whether they’ll buy the dress online or not, they’ll start to get an idea of what they are looking for in a dress.

I let them check out a site featuring Tony Bowls prom dresses which has a great selection of prom looks, along with a guide that helps them choose dresses by silhouette, color, style and price.Though the gowns look pretty amazing , it’s too pricey for them (for me too) and won’t fit to their budget.

If only I still have ample time to save for their prom dress I would love to purchase for them Short prom dresses online! Because they’re skinny, this unique Clarisse 2009 with a crumbcatcher neckline complete with sequins and a full tulle glitter skirt would be prefect for Yvonne- imagine flirty and glamourous…LOL!

This Clarisse 2009, featured in a charming bubblegum color, short dress features a heart-shaped neckline complete with an embellished bodice and full tulle skirt and matching bolero jacket will best suit for my sister Beighty!

Anyway, what is I’m asking from them is to stick to their budget and that there are plenty of creative ways to beat blowing several hundred dollars on a dress they’ll wear only once. Unless they plan to recreate it next year, that is, or donate it so that someone in their shoes next prom season has that many more options.

And one last thing, I demanded them to go for sexy not slutty. Slutty shows desperation while sexy shows class and confidence!
